New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs:

- A source of fiscal resources for both the NM State Library and the NM Coalition for Literacy, the NM Department of Cultural Affairs allocates resources through an annual appropriation from the NM State Legislature.

New Mexico State Library:
|
|
- As our liaison with the New Mexico state government, the New Mexico State Library provides us with a generous share of fiscal resources.
|

|
New Mexico Higher Education Department:
|
|
|
- Adult Basic Education in New Mexico is administered by the New Mexico Higher Education Department. The NMCL works closely with Adult Basic Education in New Mexico, providing professional development opportunities and technical assistance to ABE educators and administrators througout our state.

|
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions
|
|
|
- The NMCL has done a number of special projects for the NM Department of Labor and the NMCL supports local programs in their projects with WIA . This firmly demonstrates the necessary connection between literacy and employment.

|
The New Mexico Corrections Department:
|
|
|
- The NMCL is a founding member of the Education Bureau's Literacy Task Force, and helps to train inmate to inmate volunteer tutors in various New Mexico Correctional Facilities.
|

|
ProLiteracy Worldwide:
|
|

The NMCL is proud to serve as the NM State Office for ProLiteracy America, the domestic division of ProLiteracy Worldwide.
|

New Mexico Adult Education Association:
|
|
|
- The HED administers ABE in the state through the New Mexico Adult Education Association. As the former professional development coordinator for ABE, the NMCL continues to welcome future partnerships with this professional organization for adult literacy providers.
|
| |
|
KOAT-TV Channel 7:
|
|
|
- KOAT-TV Channel 7 sponsors the NMCL 800 Hotline, a phone number for any inquiries concerning literacy in New Mexico. The station also sponsors public service announcements promoting literacy efforts in the state.
|
| |
|
Hastings Entertainment, Inc.:
|
|
|
- Hastings Entertainment has been a continued supporter of literacy throughout the years through their Literacy Program for giving. Last year, their literacy fund contributed to programs statewide with their contribution to the NMCL.
|
|
|
Pitney Bowes Literacy and Education Fund:
|
|
- In December of 2006, the Pitney Bowes Foundation granted the NMCL a generous $15,000 grant to support its tutor training progam. The NMCL looks forward to this new partnership, provided through the foundation's Literacy and Education initiative.

|
PNM Foundation
|
|
|
- The PNM Foundation presented the NMCL with a check in the amount of $10,000 in October of 2006 to suport tutor training over the next year. PNM has been a strong supporter of adult literacy throughout the years.

Qwest Foundation
|
|

On May 7, 2007, the Qwest Foundation presented the NMCL with a $2,500 check for tutor training. As with PNM, Qwest is also a great supporter of adult literacy statewide!

Sulica Fund
|
|
|
- Also in December of 2006, the Sulica Fund contributed $1,500 toward the training of new tutors! As with the Pitney Bowes Foundation, the NMCL looks forward to this new partnership with the Sulica Fund.

|
Western Commerce Bank
|
|
|
- Western Commerce Bank has been a generous supporter of adult literacy throughout the years, and this year is no different. In January of 2007, they contributed $1,000 to the NMCL general fund.
