ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?

To volunteer directly for us here in Santa Fe, please see the following Job Description.

Additionally, the Coalition works with over 90 local literacy programs throughout the state.   We would be happy to connect you with a program in your community.

There is an ongoing need for volunteers to work one-on-one with students to help them improve their reading and computational skills, English language proficiency, and basic educational skills.  Your commitment and enthusiasm are all that is required.  Comprehensive tutor training is provided by the Coalition for Literacy or by a local literacy program in a location and at a time that is convenient for you.

If you would like more information on how you can become involved as a volunteer, send us an e-mail message at info@nmcl.org or contact a literacy program in your community by using information found in our Literacy Services Guide.
